Kylie Smidt is a Dental Therapist who has enjoyed educating and encouraging patients through their dental journey, practising at Teeth@Mittagong since December 2019. She graduated at the College of Dental Therapy, Westmead in 1998 and has over 20 years clinical experience in the dentistry of children working in public oral health and private dental practice.

To expand her scope of practice, enabling her to treat adult patients, under the mentorship of Dr Jerry Basson she attended the University of Melbourne and received honours in the Graduate Certificate in Dental Therapy ( Advanced Clinical Practice ).

Kylie is a registered dental practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency ( AHPRA ) and is a member of the Australian Dental and Oral Health Therapy Association ( ADOHTA ).

Striving for excellence, Kylie provides her patients with high quality, patient centred care by continuing to pursue her interests in dentistry through continuing professional development. She also has extensive experience in Accreditation, Patient Safety,Risk Management and Infection Prevention and Control.

After she graduated as a Dental Therapist, Kylie moved to the Southern Highlands where she still resides with her husband, son and their toy cavoodle. She values the time she spends with her family and loves to read, bake with her son and travel.
