Dr Louise McDonald is a female general dentist and has over 30 years experience in general dental practice.

Louise has a Dental Degree from the University of Sydney. After graduating she worked in regional NSW at dental practices in Lismore, Grafton, Goulburn and Bowral.

Louise has completed a doctorate in oral pathology from the University of Sydney at Westmead Hospital and subsequently worked in a post-doctoral research position. During this time Louise continued to work in general dental practice in the Southern Highlands.

Teeth@Mittagong was founded over 20 years ago by Dr Jerry Basson and Dr Louise McDonald who met while studying dentistry in Sydney. Whist they have different areas of expertise within the practice they share a passion for providing compassionate and ethical care.

Louise enjoys all aspects of general dental practice and has significant experience in crown and bridge work and root canal therapy. She maintains her interest in oral pathology and is heavily invested in providing preventative dental treatments and advice to assist her patient’s in maintaining lifelong dental health.
